What we handle
uvindex.se does not collect personal data. When you share your location, we use it only to fetch weather, UV, and pollen for that place — it is never stored with us. Your browser remembers your searches, your UV threshold, and the latest reading locally, so the app works offline too.
Cookies and tracking
We don't use cookies. Our visitor analytics count anonymously, respect Do-Not-Track (DNT), and never link you across sessions.
Where the data lives
Everything is processed within the EU. Weather comes from a third-party service specialised in open weather data — we never ask for more than the location you've shared with us. To reduce load on the service, we keep weather fetches briefly, keyed to roughly rounded coordinates (e.g. 59.33, 18.07) — never to IP addresses or identifiers.
Your rights
You can delete all your data anytime from Settings → "Delete my data". This removes your device profile on our side and clears all local data. Questions about privacy? Email us.
